Visited Bumthang in Central Bhutan from 5 August to 10 August. It was refreshing to visit this village at an altitude of 3,200M. We were accompanied by 18 energetic girls from Seisen Girls University in Tokyo, Japan. The girls spent 3 nights in the village with their host families.The students also had the chance to collect Matsutake mushroom which is in season now. They also presented a number of Japanese songs and dances to the villagers.
